The name of the lucky lady at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino that won the biggest slot machine jackpot in the history of the state of Florida was finally released.  Her name is Terese Moore and she is a resident of Land O’ Lakes.  Moore walked away with $2.5 million from on jackpot win.  According to Moore she decided to play slot machines that day because she “felt lucky.”  It looks like her gut paid off because the slot machine certainly paid off.

Terese Moore won exactly $2,551,037 from the Wheel of Fortune Mega Jackpot after only wagering $200.  She actually did not come to the casino for the slot machines, but a car drawing.

Her slot machine was of the progressive variety, connected to slot machines in 300 casinos all across the United States.  Every wager is collected and goes toward the jackpot which grows until some lucky player wins. The jackpot on Wheel of Fortune slot machines always starts at $1,000,000. 

“It's kind of like the jackpots are so much bigger because its got so many other people playing at the same time,” said Gina Morales, spokesman for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

According to Morales, Moore broke into tears when the realization hit her that the jackpot was the real deal.  Moore will be using a portion of the jackpot to pay off her house.
