When dealing with luck, one can expect great highs and great lows.
Two very different displays of luck at online casinos were made public
recently. Both involve big wins but one ends in dreams fulfilled and
the other in pure heartbreak.
A few days ago it was made public that a gambler at one of
Microgaming’s online casinos had hit a record break jackpot worth Euro
6.3 million. Until now, no jackpot of that size has been paid out in
the history of online casinos. Unfortunately, very little was revealed
about the winner, in truth nothing was released about the winner at all.
Now we have a name and a country. The lucky player is from Greece
and his name is Georgios M. Georgios was playing the Mega Moolah
progressive slot machine at Riverbelle.com, one of Microgaming’s most
popular online casinos. The Euro 6.3 million jackpot completely dwarfs
the $5.5 million jackpot one by a Finnish player last year.
While the number is not even close to 6 million another player at the
Irish Luck online casino won a jackpot worth $215,412 from the One
Million Reels BC progressive slots game. But that is where the luck
ended for this player, whose identity has not gone public. They were
unfortunately playing on a free chip. According to the rule and
regulations of the Irish Luck casino, powered by Rival Gaming, this
disqualifies the player from winning the jackpot.
In hopes of not walking away completely empty handed from such a once
in a life time event, the player is currently trying to work out some
sort of comp point deal with the online casino management.
