Casino Rewards Assume Control
It was unfortunate, but unavoidable that the former Casino
Action online casinos had to remain closed while Casino Rewards took over
management. But now that the online casinos are up and running, with all former
player account intact, few gamblers are complaining. Some very successful
gamblers would have been very displeased with the alternative of all Casino
Action accounts being deemed null and void.
Casino Rewards has only taken of six of the Casino Action
online casinos. Casino Rewards has not assumed ownership of any of the poker
rooms associated with Casino Action. Nor is Casino Rewards responsible or
knowledgeable of their fate.
The future of the Casino Action group poker rooms is not yet decided. However,
the acquisition of the online casinos is welcomed by both players and
affiliates. The first signs of trouble for Casino Action appeared only weeks
ago when the independent player protection and standards association eCOGRA
publicly demanded the suspension of the use of their ‘Fair and Safe’ seal at all
Casino Action online casinos.
Confidentiality policies prevented eCOGRA from revealing the details of how the
group failed to meet their standards. Following the action, Tusk alerted their
software provider Microgaming that the company intended to go into liquidation.
Microgaming immediately suspended use of it software and force the Casino Action
group into closure.
Tusk Investments, owners of the Casino Action group, has
made little to know remarks about the sudden downward spiral of their online
casinos. It has been made clear, however, that the appointment of liquidators
has been finalized and await approval from the Vanuatu jurisdiction.
