I have been talking a lot about robbing casinos and what a bad idea it is in the first place. However, if you plan on robbing a casino do not dilly-dally. Go in and get out. That may seem like a piece of obvious advice, but someone failed to tell the guy who robbed the Dostal Alley Casino in Colorado recently. I am not quite sure what the perpetrator was thinking, but he decided that before he got around to the business of robbing the casino at gun point he would hang out and play a few slot machines. Perhaps he just wanted to take the edge of his heist plan. It is not likely, but maybe he made a deal with himself that if he went in and one an honest jackpot of a sizable amount then he would not rob the place.
It is likely that the perpetrator wanted to blend in. I am sure that was what he was thinking, but he did not do a very good job of that since he was wearing an obviously fake beard on the casino surveillance camera. Even the most untrained person on the casino security staff would have enough awareness to keep a close eye on the guy wearing the fake beard. But, it appears his ambition to blend in ended up being his downfall. That just gave the security cameras enough time to get several close up shots of his face. Someone should have told that guy to get in and get out!
